These girls went and kicked butt this last weekend November 15th. They really kicked off their season. They went to school all day, left during the 7th hour, got ready, and went straight to the BA tournament. As soon as they got there they did weigh-ins. Then they all warmed up and began wrestling.
The JH girls went as well, they brought two of their managers to help out and four girls competed off of the JH team. Eleven of the high school girls competed. The other two girls were managers due to injuries. Starting off strong Maggie Beaird battled her way all through the bracket and got to the finals She had a really good match and got runner-up for the 140 LB weight class. Then Jada Palmer got runner-up as well in the 145 LB weight class after pinning all of her opponents and having a tough battle in the last round.
Tori Dobbins also had an impressive first tournament and took runner-up for the 190 LB weight class. That’s insane for her first year. Greta Hunt wrestling in the 125 LB weight class took 4th place and worked her butt off. Jayden Church and Ana Blankenship did not medal. They both got 5th place and wrestled through some good brackets. Aryn Irving and Raiden Maxwell also competed and did so well for their first time.

Taylor Sohl wrestled for 6th/7th grade she placed 4th in the 138 LB weight class.
