Teacher Appreciation Week – Friday

Alex enthusiastically stepped into the position of copy editor for the 2024-2025 school year. She is 18, a senior, and plans to finish her college applications, continue to dedicate her time to choir, band, and Bulldog media, and set herself up for her future. She plans to go to OSU in Stillwater to pursue a degree in Music Education and Performance. Alex likes all music, she listens to all genres, artists, bands, and musicals. The only things she doesn’t like are Country music and K-Pop. She enjoys sweet and salty foods, sweet and spicy candy, sour drinks, and sweet drinks. Her favorite animal is a peacock. If she could choose any skill to be immediately perfect at, she would choose nothing. She would rather be good at everything over be perfect at one thing, so she would just gather skills and become ok at them, it’s ok if she makes mistakes because that’s what makes the human experience and that’s how we learn. She has many people who inspire her. Everyone finds a way to inspire her every single day. Everyone has a unique experience in life, both good and bad, and she sees so many people pushing through the bad to get to the good, she sees so many people throwing themselves into their individual passions, and it’s all very inspiring to her. Alex is in Band, Treble Choir, Concert Chorale, NHS, Junior Chamber of Commerce, NSHSS, Spanish, and Bulldog Media. Her hope for Bulldog Media is to spread knowledge on the proper way to write articles, spread information, and address opinions without being accusatory or rude and instead come across as informative and insightful. Her favorite thing to do is photography and writing/editing articles.
